Domain portfolio

Open a domain in My Domains and use Overview, DNS, Nameservers, and Protect Brand tabs.

When you click a domain under Domains → My Domains, you open the domain portfolio a detail page with tabs for everything about that one name.


Open a domain

  1. Sign in at npanel.nisccloud.com.
  2. Click Domains in the sidebar.
  3. Click My Domains.
  4. Find your domain in the list (use search if many domains).
  5. Click the domain name (e.g. yourcompany.co.ke).
  6. The portfolio page opens with tabs across the top.

Overview tab

The Overview tab is the summary screen.

You typically see:

  • Domain status Active, expired, pending transfer, etc.
  • Registration date and expiry / renewal date
  • Registrar information
  • Auto-renewal or renewal reminders (if shown)
  • Shortcuts to renew or open related hosting

What to do here

  • Check expiry date and pay renewal invoices under Billing → Invoices before the date passes.
  • Note whether the domain uses Nisc Cloud nameservers or external DNS (often shown on Overview or Nameservers tab).

DNS tab

The DNS tab is where you add and edit DNS records the instructions that send visitors to your website and mail to your inbox.

Common record types:

Nameservers tab

The Nameservers tab controls which companyNisc Cloud's DNS system answers lookups for your domain.

Default Nisc Cloud nameservers use when hosting and DNS are with Nisc Cloud. Hosting Overview may list the exact hostnames to use.

Custom nameservers use when another company (Cloudflare, external host) manages DNS. Enter their nameserver hostnames here.

Protect Brand tab

The Protect Brand tab includes options to help protect your domain and brand online for example monitoring or services related to trademark and domain security depending on your plan.

  1. Open the Protect Brand tab.
  2. Read each offered option on screen.
  3. Enable or order features as needed.
  4. Save changes.

Availability varies by TLD and product. If the tab is empty, the feature may not apply to that extension.


Typical workflows

Connect domain to Nisc Cloud hosting

  1. Open domain → Nameservers → set Nisc Cloud nameservers from hosting Overview.
  2. Or keep nameservers and use DNS → add A record to hosting IP.

Connect domain to business email

  1. Open domain → DNS.
  2. Add MX records shown in Emails plan overview.
  3. Add TXT for SPF/DKIM if provided.

Point domain to external website builder

  1. Open DNS.
  2. Add A or CNAME records from your builderNisc Cloud's instructions (Shopify, Wix, etc.).
