Set up mailboxes
Create business email accounts and passwords in the customer dashboard.
This guide shows how to create mailboxes (email accounts) on your domain after you have ordered business email from Nisc Cloud.
Before you create mailboxes
- Your email plan is active under Emails in the dashboard.
- Your domain points mail to Nisc Cloud via DNS MX records some setups configure this automatically.
Create a mailbox
- Sign in at npanel.nisccloud.com.
- Click Emails in the sidebar.
- Click your email plan (often named after your domain).
- Look for Create mailbox, Add account, or Mailboxes.
- Enter:
- Username part before
@(e.g.info,sales,yourname) - Password strong password (save it securely)
- Display name how recipients see you (optional)
- Storage quota if plan allows per-user limits
- Username part before
- Click Create or Save.
- Full address is
username@yourdomain.com.
Repeat for each employee or role (support@, accounts@, etc.) within your planNisc Cloud's mailbox limit.
Reset a mailbox password
- Open Emails → [your plan] → Mailboxes.
- Select the user → Change password or Reset.
- Enter new password twice and save.
- Update password on phones and Outlook if already configured.
Forwarding and aliases (if available)
Some plans support forwarders (send copy to Gmail) or aliases (multiple names, one inbox):
- On the email plan page, open Forwarders or Aliases.
- Add source address and destination.
- Save.
Exact options depend on your product tier.
Test sending and receiving
- Configure DNS if not done.
- Open Webmail and log in as the new user.
- Send a test email to a personal Gmail address.
- Reply from Gmail to confirm inbound mail works.
If mail fails, wait for DNS propagation (up to 24–48 hours) and verify MX records.
