Subscriptions
View active subscriptions, renewal dates, and what happens when a subscription renews or expires.
A subscription is a recurring Nisc Cloud service hosting renewed yearly, a monthly server, or similar. Subscriptions do not replace invoices; when a renewal is due, the system usually creates an invoice you pay.
Manage subscriptions under Billing → Subscriptions in the dashboard.
Open the subscriptions list
- Sign in at npanel.nisccloud.com.
- In the left sidebar, click Billing.
- Click Subscriptions.
- You see active (and sometimes cancelled) subscriptions with:
- Product name (hosting plan, domain, email, etc.)
- Billing cycle (monthly, annually)
- Next renewal date or Expiry date
- Status (Active, Suspended, Cancelled)
Open one subscription
- Click a subscription row or View link.
- The detail page may show:
- Linked service (which domain or hosting account)
- Price at renewal
- Start date and next billing date
- Related invoices
Use this page to know when you will be billed again, not necessarily to change technical DNS or hosting settings those stay under Domains, Hosting, or Emails.
How renewal works
- Before the renewal date, Nisc Cloud may email the billing contact on your account.
- A new invoice appears under Billing → Invoices, often a few days before or on the renewal date.
- You pay the invoice with M-Pesa or card (same as any other bill).
- When paid, the subscription next renewal date moves forward and the service continues.
If auto-pay is not enabled, you must pay manually each cycle. Check each renewal invoice in Invoices.
If a subscription expires unpaid
If an invoice is not paid by the due date:
- Status may change to Overdue or Suspended.
- Domains risk of losing the name after registry grace periods; renew urgently.
- Hosting / email website or mail may stop working until payment.
- Servers VPS, VDS, or dedicated instances may be powered off or removed after a grace period.
What to do:
- Open Billing → Invoices.
- Pay the latest unpaid renewal invoice.
- Wait up to 30 minutes for services to restore.
- If still offline, contact support with invoice and subscription IDs.
Cancel or change a plan
Cancellation and upgrade rules depend on the product:
- Some plans can be changed from Marketplace or by ordering a new plan on nisccloud.com.
- To cancel before renewal, contact Nisc Cloud support with your subscription name and reason the dashboard may not show a self-service cancel button for every product.
Always download paid invoices for your records before making billing changes.
