Dedicated servers

Dedicated servers are physical machines reserved for you alone no other customer shares the CPU, RAM, or disks. Use them for high-traffic sites, large databases, game servers, or strict compliance needs.

Order a dedicated server

1. Go to nisccloud.com → Dedicated servers.
2. Review hardware specs (CPU model, RAM, RAID storage, bandwidth).
3. Choose managed vs unmanaged if offered:
   • Unmanaged you administer OS and software.
   • Managed Nisc Cloud helps with OS updates and monitoring (plan dependent).
4. Select OS or request custom setup if sales-assisted.
5. Checkout dedicated provisioning may take longer than VPS (hours to days).

Contact sales on the website for custom configurations if standard plans do not fit.

Open dedicated server in dashboard

1. Sign in at npanel.nisccloud.com.
2. Click Cloud Servers → Dedicated.
3. Click your server.

View primary IP addresses, power status, and access details. Some actions (OS reinstall, IPMI) may require support ticket depending on plan.

Access your server

SSH (Linux):

ssh root@YOUR_DEDICATED_IP

Remote desktop (Windows Server): use RDP with IP and credentials from the dashboard or welcome email.

Store credentials securely. Change default passwords on first login.

Networking and domains

1. Assign primary website domain via A record in Domains → DNS pointing to dedicated IP.
2. Configure additional IPs if your plan includes multiple addresses.
3. Set up SSL on the server or load balancer.

Maintenance and responsibility

On unmanaged dedicated servers you are responsible for:

• OS patches and security
• Firewall and fail2ban
• Application backups
• Monitoring uptime

Use Backup strategies at OS level or order backup services if available.

Billing

Dedicated servers usually bill monthly or annually. Track Subscriptions and pay Invoices on time hardware may be reclaimed after extended non-payment per service terms.
